Our Program Components
  • Youth Advocates provide interventions for at risk youth. Individual goals are developed to address risk and protective factors. Referrals are made to other community agencies as needed for additional services.

  • POWER Center (providing opportunities while empowering responsibility) is an after-school program for youth.  It provides youth opportunities to work on individual goals, interact with peers and positive adults in a safe atmosphere.  Youth work through issues that are important to their individual growth.  They can get help with homework, have access to a computer lab and participate in field trips, volunteer opportunities in the community and recreational activities.

  • The Sunscape summer program provides healthy recreational activities & service learning opportunities for youth during the summer months.  We also operate the "No Child Hungry" that provides free meals during the summer for school age children at no cost.  This assures that kids don't go hungry during the summer months.

  • Second Harvest of the Metrolina Food Bank The Food Bank assist our agency in providing a hot meal for our clients after school and a bag of groceries to take home on the weekend.  Occasionally, we have additional bags that we give out to families that are registered with our agency.
